Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her best-known role is Skyler White in The AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress on a Drama Series. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. Her passion for performing at the age of Preparatory after which she moved to Ohio together with her family during the early 1970s. She studied theatre at Northwestern University and spent a period in the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career working in theatres of the Chicago area for several years. Her next move was to TV and film. Anna received her breakthrough in 1992 when she played Arden for 29 seasons of Down the Shore. In the following years, she was an actor in few TV shows and films including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue up to the end of 1990's when she appeared in a regular role in The Practice as Jean Ward in The Practice. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. In 2008, she was as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. She also starred in the Deadwood movie as well as Sully. Gunn was on stage to star in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. In 2022 Gunn also starred in a four-part audio drama podcast titled"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad is often built around the relationship between Walter White and the wife of his character, Skyler. Their strained bond and eventual demise reflect the tragedy of Walter White.
